How Unshaken Hope began

I was struck with Lamentations 3:19-24 one day, about 10 years ago, when I realized that Jeremiah penned these words during the Babylonian siege. These were horrible times. Yet he wrote, "Yet this I call to mind, therefore I have hope. . ." I figured that if Jeremiah could find hope by calling certain things to mind, then there is hope for me. That's how this journey began for me.
